24th of July Fun

We had a wonderful surprise over the 24th of July.  Peg and the boys and Libby came home to visit.  It was great!  I had all of the girls stay the night at my house the night before the parade.  They all had a blast :)  After the parade we all went to Amber's for a barbecue, and then we went to the rodeo that night.  It was a great day!  I know I am sharing a big overload of pictures, but I really want all of them in my blog book at the end of the year! :)  My sweet little girls! Aubrey was so cute, at the rodeo there were kids who did the hide race (where a horse pulls kids around a barrel on a "hide" and the fastest time wins.  Aubrey LOVED it, and she was asking me to sign her up for it next year.  When I told her that you can't just sign up, you have to have an adult on a horse to pull you, she simply said "Oh it's okay mom!  Daddy can pull me on Otis!"  How cute, she thinks it would be okay for daddy to get on our miniature horse and pull her on the hide.  Can you imagine the crowd if Joe came out on a little pony?!  He's as big as the horse is! lol!  Also, we have 3 miniature horses.  so while at the rode Aubrey saw a lot of big horses (normal size) and she kept saying "Look Dad, it's a "giraffed" horse!  (she calls draft horses "giraffed horses"  LOL!)  She thought all of the normal horses were so huge they had to be "giraffed horses"! 

Joe is so cute and such a good dad...he was up in the club house at Amber's playing with Aubrey and Libby. Every year at the rodeo they let kids chase animals.  Aubrey's age group got to chase bunnies.  She was so excited to chase one, but we didn't catch it (mom and dad were happy about that lol) Lindsay got to chase chickens.  She also did not catch one.  Daddy and Aubrey watchin the rodeo
