Ever since we have been married, Joe has been working in the oil field, and has not had much time to go hunting. When he has gone, he hasn't had much luck seeing anything at all. So this year, he was so excited because he has a schedule with time off. We were both hopeful that it would be his year to kill something. He killed a little 2x3 buck during deer season this year. He saw a cow elk on opening day, but I had told him not to shoot a cow on opening day. So he passed it up. It was nearing the end of hunting season, and he went out on October 29th. He was feeling frustrated after not seeing anything, and was wishing he would have killed that cow elk. He called me early, like 8am or 8:30am and said he called a 6 point bull elk. We were all SO EXCITED for him!!! It was so so awesome!!!!!! We are going to have it mounted. Joe is so very proud of it, as he should be!
